What this agreement covers
This Subscriber Agreement governs your purchase and use of a paid Monitovo NMS subscription — billing, cancellation, plan limits, and data handling on termination. It supplements the Terms of Service and is incorporated into those Terms by reference. In the event of a conflict, this Agreement prevails for subscription and billing matters.
1. Subscription plans
Monitovo NMS offers the following subscription tiers. Feature availability and limits are defined on the pricing page and are incorporated herein by reference. Monitovo, LLC reserves the right to change plan features or pricing subject to the notice requirements in Section 9.

2. Free Starter plan
The Starter plan is free of charge and requires no payment method to activate. It is intended for evaluation, homelab use, and small personal deployments. Starter accounts are subject to all usage limits specified for that tier and to the Acceptable Use Policy in the Terms of Service.
Monitovo, LLC reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free Starter tier with 30 days' advance notice to affected account holders.
3. Payment and billing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise Monitovo, LLC and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
- All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes
- Your billing period begins on the date of initial subscription
- Invoices are issued by Stripe and emailed to your registered address
- Failed payments will be retried by Stripe; persistent non-payment may result in service suspension
- You are responsible for keeping your payment method current
4. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until cancelled. You will not receive a separate renewal notice before each charge, but you can view your next billing date in your Stripe billing portal at any time.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to the Service through that date. To cancel:
- Use the Billing section within your Monitovo NMS account settings, or
- Email hello@monitovo.com with your account email and we will process the cancellation within one business day
After your paid period ends, your account downgrades. If your current resource counts exceed Starter limits, you will be unable to add new resources until within-limit, but existing configuration is retained for 30 days to allow data export or upgrade.
6. Refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable except as follows:
- 14-day new subscriber refund — If you are a first-time paid subscriber and cancel within 14 days of your initial payment, you may request a full refund of that payment by emailing hello@monitovo.com. This applies once per legal entity.
- Service credit for extended outage — If the Service experiences an unplanned outage exceeding four (4) consecutive hours, you may request a prorated credit for the affected period. Credits are applied to future invoices and are not redeemable for cash.
- Required by law — We comply with any refund requirements mandated by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
7. Plan limits and enforcement
Each plan carries hard limits on devices, sensors, Edge Agents, and users. The platform enforces these limits automatically: when a limit is reached, you will receive an error and must upgrade your plan before adding further resources. Existing resources are not removed when a limit is reached.
Attempting to circumvent plan limits is a violation of the Terms of Service Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrades take effect immediately. The price difference for the remainder of the current billing period is prorated and charged at the time of upgrade.
Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. You retain access to higher-tier features through the end of your current period. If your resource counts exceed the lower tier's limits after downgrade, you will be unable to add new resources until within the new limits, but existing resources are not deleted automatically.
9. Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price increase by email to the primary account holder. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.
10. Service level and availability
Monitovo NMS targets high availability for all paid tiers, but does not guarantee a specific uptime percentage for Starter, Pro, or Business plans. A formal uptime SLA with credit remedies is available only on Enterprise and Custom plans and must be agreed in a written SLA addendum.
Planned maintenance windows will be announced with reasonable notice wherever practicable. Emergency maintenance may be performed without advance notice.
11. Data upon termination or cancellation
When your subscription ends or is terminated:
- 30-day grace window — Your data remains accessible for 30 days after the effective end date. You may export your configuration and monitoring history during this period.
- Permanent deletion — After the 30-day window, all tenant data (devices, sensors, checks, alert history, users, integrations) is permanently deleted from production systems.
- Backups — Data may persist in encrypted backup snapshots for up to an additional 30 days before being rotated out.
- Payment records — Stripe billing records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations.
We cannot recover data after permanent deletion. It is your responsibility to export any data you require before the grace window expires.
12. Taxes
Subscription fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, GST, or equivalent applicable taxes on your subscription. Where required by law, Monitovo, LLC or Stripe may collect applicable taxes and remit them to the relevant authority.
